Job Description
We are looking for a talented HRIS manager who puts customers first, has passion for his/her work, and loves a fast-paced team environment with ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. The HRIS Manager is responsible for administration of the Company’s HR information systems, as well as providing customer support, and implementing new functionality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical and functional expertise in support HR system of HCM, Payroll, Time attendance, Learning, Recruiting &performance management etc.
Lead the systems update review and testing process.
Support the full range of functions of HR systems, including business process configuration, security administration, report development, and related training and communication.
Resolve escalated issues and ensure delivery of high-quality customer service.
Identify trends or root cause behaviors for frequently occurring issues and errors and manage potential solutions.
Serve as a partner with internal clients specifically IT and external vendors to find innovative solutions to business needs.
Coordinate the testing and implementation of new or modified functionality and related communications and training.
Manage standard integration processes and data loads.
As our use of the HR system expands, work on project teams with IT and internal clients to develop and deploy new functionality and analytics.
Lead for HRIS design, continued implementation, and downstream interfaces; coordination of project plans for HRIS and integrated systems.
Design and implement end user training plans. Serve as lead technical SME and Super User/Trainer for HR systems and application processes. Develop training materials and sessions for end users to increase the effectiveness of HR systems.
Design and implement internal and external reporting processes.
Design and implement policy and controls for data security and audit.
Troubleshoot issues with in/out bound integrations: Applicant Tracking System, Timekeeping System, Payroll System, Quality/Learning Management System, 3rd party vendors i.e. Benefits and retirement/pension solution providers
Proactively audit data for quality, accuracy, reporting, timeliness and usability to ensure integrity of core systems and interfaces.
Research and implement HRIS improvements to reduce error, increase efficiency, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
HRIS support for ongoing and annual HR initiatives: talent acquisition, performance management, compensation planning, learning, compliance training.
Provide production support, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. Recommend solutions and/or alternate methods to meet business needs based on system capabilities.
Coordinates with payroll on appropriate deductions and enrollment procedures into such plans, and ensures compliance in all relevant jurisdictions.
Document and maintain relevant documentation (e.g. Business Requirements, Functional Documents, configuration rational)
Provides content for design reviews in support of the implementation and assures alignment with the long term Enterprise roadmap
Facilitates requirements gathering sessions and realization sign-off with the business SME’s
Assists with gaining formal acceptance of solution at the end of User Acceptance Test
Enables effective, efficient working relationship with the technology teams
Pro-actively facilitates cross-functional integration with other relevant areas
Work with internal teams specifically IT or 3rd party vendors to ensure that existing services meet the service targets; work to improve service delivery
Essential Knowledge and Skills
Subject matter expert in HR systems including but not limited to Core HR, Recruiting and/or Learning
Strong analytical ability to understand system functionality as well as downstream impacts on interfaces
Thorough understanding of regulations relating to data privacy
Strong project management skills and ability to drive projects and initiatives while translating business needs into technical requirements.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage through ambiguity and competing priorities.
Experience with Payroll and integration processes is a plus
Proven HR system update management and testing experience
Verbal, written and interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong expertise in Reporting and Analytics
Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and professionalism
8 years of experience as an HR Systems subject matter expert, preferably Workday
BA/BS preferred or equivalent HR systems experience
