BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

-Project design, Project plan, project budget, development and continuous improvement.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

-Lead the new project introduction to plant, co-work with PM, customer and related cross functional team.

-Verify the NPI readiness step by step, make sure customer requirement fully implemented in both process and final product, and meet the NPI OTD.

-Discuss or lead the meeting to discuss technical / process issues to customer directly.

-Aggressive introduce the new technology or new process in plant, and pull in the NPI schedule.

-Develops procedures to reduce outage time, streamline activities and cost reduction.

-BOM create and ECN follow up etc.

-Complete the appointed job given by boss by the right time with good quality.



Dimensions / Scope

-Lead internal project team, introduce new products.

-New prototypes supporting.



Interaction / Relationship

-Internal: PM/Production/PMC/Quality/Sales/Purchasing/Sourcing

-External: Supplier/Customer



Education, Qualification and training

-College education and major in electronics or mechanics.



Experience or skills required

-Strong PCBA process background, automotive and/or BPA (press fit) experience is preferred; Min. five years’ work experience in PCBA fabrication process is preferred.

-Capable to discuss or lead the meeting to discuss technical / process issues to customer directly;

-Familiar with setting up process flow/work instruction.

-Strong engineering logic and trouble-shooting capability.

-Familiar with process improvement tools.

-Fluent English speaking, read and writing;

-Skilled in project / NPI/program management, knowing about the RFQ process, on both procedure and tools. (Lean, 6-sigma, TS16949 experience is preferred)

-Good communication skill with cross teams and customers.

-Good computer skill.
