BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

-Process development, continuous improvement and new project support.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

-Analyses product field performance and identifies opportunities to increases product value and manufacturing effectiveness through design and process changes.

-Develops new integration line, balance tact time for each steps, define and monitor hourly output.

-Technical support & trouble shooting on fabrication & assembly.

-New project supporting & training.

-Develops procedures to reduce outage time, streamline activities and cost reduction.

-NPI support and WI preparation.

-Tooling and fixture design, maintenance and management.

-Complete the appointed job given by boss by the right time with good quality.

Dimensions / Scope

-Introduce new products into mass production, set-up and run continuous improvement programs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

-Relevant department support.

Interaction / Relationship

-Internal: Production/PMC/Quality/Sales/Purchasing/Sourcing

-External: Supplier/Customer

Education

-College education and major in electric or mechanics.

Experience or skills required

-Min. 2 years’ work experience in PCBA integration process

-Familiar with setting up process flow/work instruction/PFMEA.

-Stronger engineering logic and trouble-shooting capability.

-Familiar with process improvement tools.

-Skilled in design tools (Pro/E & CAD) operations is preferred.

-Good at English speaking and writing.

-Good communication skill (more than 50% colleagues’ feedback is positive).

-Familiar with press-fit machine and press-fit connector specification.

-Should have the basic information security risk identification and judgment.

Specialised training or skills required

-IATF 16949 ISO 9000 etc

-FMEA, SPC, and DOE, lean manufacturing
