The Customs Specialst is primarily responsible for reconciliation between customs handbook / EDI and the company’s ERP systems input / update handbook information into ERP systems, preparing / check custom documentation and declaration, coordinating the process and documentation involved in international trades including settlement of duties and related taxes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check / prepare documentation for all customs related issue.
Assist in compliance of customs regulations (including proper certification of product) on all imports and exports of goods and assets;
Ensure customs handbook / EDI is reconciled with ERP systems
Assist in maintain HS Codes, duty rates, part numbers in JD Edwards (database) including update of BOM registration with customs bureau;
Check / prepare customs related document for VAT tax refund application in time.
Reconcile the inventory in warehouse with JDE record.
Apply for the payment related to customs such as import duty and import VAT, reconcile the payment with the custom declaration form.
Assist in maintain all files and records in compliance with global regulations and Internal Quality Systems Standards (J-SOX) and Custom’s requirements;

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree in related fields or equivalent.
2years related experience
Proficient with international trade in and out of China.
Familiar with customs regulations, process including specific local Shenzhen customs requirements.
Familiar with Customs systems / EDI
Full knowledge and rich experiences in processing trade
Rich experiences in duty and VAT payment application for domestic sales
Rich experiences in customs handbook control and balance
Good at data analysis
Good working knowledge of ERP system and experience with JDE / Oracle is preferred.
Proficient in Windows software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable with good written and verbal communication skills.
Trustworthy, thorough and firm in withholding company requirements or policy.
Highly motivated, self-starter, confident, able to work with limited supervision.
Ability to work well in team environment and to perform in fast pace environment.
